To begin with, slip - on shoes are available from "bells of Dunoon". If you wish to purchase proper Highland Dancing Shoes, they are also available from "Bells of Dunoon".

Children should be dressed in:
- Shorts or tight leggings on bottom
- Leotards and/or t-shirts on top.
Tap/Modern
Children under 10 should have P.U. Tap shoes, preferably in white. Children over 10 have the option to purchase leather taps in black.
For Modern children should have reflex rubber sole Jazz shoes, preferably in white.
Tap and Jazz shoes are available from "Smiths" in Greenock, or can be ordered off the Internet sites that are listed below:
Children should be dressed in:
- Jazz pants / tights and skirt / tight leggings / shorts on bottom
- Leotard/ Crop tops / T-Shirts on top
